This is a blog entry I started a long time ago and something happened and I had to go and I never posted it! Silly me! Oh well! Better late than never!

In March, during spring break, we took a trip to Utah to see our family. We always have so much fun when we go! Here are a few of our favorite pictures and memories from our trip.

Our girls were so excited to wear their new Easter dresses to church in Grandma and Grandpa's ward and this is a picture of them right after church. They are so cute!

Our girls had so much fun getting reacquainted with their cousins. Here is the line up of grand kids! It is practically a miracle that we were able to line them all up and get them to stay still long enough to get the pictures. It always amazes me how quickly families grow!

Since BB turned 4 a couple of days after we got home from Utah, our wonderful family threw BB a birthday party while we were there. This was the first of THREE birthday parties for this lucky girl! She had so much fun! It was good for her. MM kicked her off of her baby throne and she really needed a little extra attention.

After cake and presents, the adults played Beatles Rock Band, while the kids ran amok in Em's basement. They had so much fun and so did we! Hopefully Em lets us come back again! : )

The whole time we were driving to Utah the girls kept saying they were going to build a snowman. At first we were trying to tell them that there wasn't going to be any snow. Then we hit a small blizzard halfway through Utah on the drive up and we started to wonder if they would be able to. By the time we got to Grandma and Grandpa's home the snow was gone. The girls were still undetoured. They really wanted to build a snowman. So one afternoon we drove up to Grandma and Grandpa Mimi's to try and find some snow. What we found was a lot of ice. That didn't matter to the girls they were thrilled to see the white stuff. So Steve did his best and this was the result. We called him "Lumpy." Very pathetic, but the girls were so happy! Then, go figure, we drove home in a snow storm.

While in Utah we went to a really cool park that looked like a castle! The girls were so excited and had a great time pretending to be princesses.

BB at the park. This was just a cute picture of BB.

The girls making cake with Grandma. Baking with Grandma always means . . .

You get to lick the beaters!!! Hurray!!

We had a huge bash at Grandma and Grandpa Mimi's clubhouse with all of the cousins and family! It was great to see Mark and Sandy's kids and their children. They are all so sweet and kind. The kids got to go on an Easter egg hunt and color pictures and we all got to eat great food! It was great fun!!

GG and her finds!

We had so much fun in Utah! On the way home we always pass the Hoover Dam but we have never gotten out to look. We were so sick of riding in the car at that point so we said lets get out and see the Hoover Dam! It is pretty amazing and was totally worth the stop. I keep looking at that bridge they are building and thinking to myself, "It will be faster and more convienent to drive over that bridge once it is done, but I am definately going to have butterflies in my stomach!" Have you seen how big and how high it is!! Scary! (The picture doesn't do it justice!)

And of course the dam itself. We were just a small spec on that walkway at the top!
We had a great spring break! We love you all and can't wait to come again!

Perfectly Patriotic

GG had a patriotic program at school. She volunteered for a part that she spent a lot of time memorizing. She did a great job!!

The program was about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

I'm taking over!!

We realize that us having a blog has been kind of a joke lately! Steve has been so busy with his new calling and never has time to sit down and blog, so I have decided to take it over for him. He and I really want those of you far away from us to hear about and see what we are doing as a family. I don't promise to be as clever as Steve was with his comments, or perfect about blogging all of the time but I do promise to blog more than Steve did!! I guess that's not saying much. : ) I am going to go back to the beginning of the year in the next few blogs and catch you all up on what we have been doing. So you will all be surprised next time you look us up!! We love you all so much!!

Visit to the Temple Grounds

Back in February, we received a paper doll from our adorable niece Abbie in Tennessee. We were assigned to take this cute doll "Roobie" on an adventure. One of the places we went was to the Mesa Temple grounds. If you look close you can see "Roobie" in GG's hands. And of course the beautiful temple!!

On the temple grounds, there is a big cactus garden with every kind of cacti.

More Cacti!!
This was just a cute picture we took on the temple lawn!

We had a lot of fun with "Roobie." We went to the Scottsdale train park, to Grandma Grabers', and got some great souvenirs, one being a real scorpion in a paper weight.
